After a long wait and a welcome revamp, the Lexus GX midsize SUV finally gets a new design for 2024. It's built on an all-new platform and features an updated engine lineup as well as a host of modern features. The powerful and attractive shape of the GX remains its main link to the previous version. The new design, inspired by the boxy Land Cruiser, looks poised to stand the test of time, a crucial trait given the previous GX's history of long production runs.

The 2024 Lexus GX features an all-new body platform, sharing the same body structure with the Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra. The car will offer a twin-turbo V-6 engine, available in hybrid and non-hybrid versions, marking a shift from the V-8 engine that was used in the previous version.
